Monthly Wrap-Up June 2024: Incognitee Bug Bounty Launch, Polkadot Treasury Proposal & More

Business Updates

Tech4Trust Accelerator Program: Integritee in the Finish Line
Earlier last month, we got to the finish line of the Tech4Trust Accelerator Program, and our CEO Waldemar Scherer attended the Award Ceremony. Although we didn’t make it to the top 3 winners, we are excited and proud to be an alumni member of T4T, together with other promising and growing startups. The program featured several workshops, conferences, meetings, and networking sessions throughout several months.

Limmat Hack Panel
We were invited to join a panel on the role of innovation in cybersecurity at Limmat’Hack, a conference focused on cybersecurity that took place in Zurich. The panel included representatives from major companies such as Trust Valley’s CEO, Lennig Pedron, Marcel Zümbuhl (CISO of Swiss Post), Olivier Eyries (CEO of Saporo), Urs Kuderli (Partner Cybersecurity & Privacy at PwC Switzerland), and Isabelle Kuskin (CEO of Cyberion).

Incognitee Bug Bounty Launch
Great news! We’ve launched our first bug bounty campaign, which can be accessed via Immunefi. We are urging developers and ethical hackers who are familiar with blockchain technology to participate by finding and reporting bugs in our Incognitee network in order to make it better. Participants can earn up to 10,000 USD by completing the tasks laid out on the bug bounty official page. Want to know more? Click here and start chasing bugs!

Incognitee Test Wallet on Paseo
If you follow our work, you probably know we’ve been focusing on our new product: Incognitee is a solution designed to transfer digital assets privately. In addition to publishing an article on the relevance of Incognitee, we’ve also launched a test wallet on Paseo for everyone to try out. If you’re eager to experience it firsthand, don’t hesitate to click here and learn how Incognitee works, and why it is relevant.

Polkadot Treasury Proposal: Taking Incognitee Further
Two weeks ago we launched a Polkadot treasury proposal requesting funds to take Incognitee to the next level. Here, you can find the principles of the proposal and understand why we are asking for support from the Polkadot Treasury.

We will need more resources to accelerate the progress on the product and bring it into the final stage, building it into something we believe will help not only other users but also other projects in the ecosystem. If you would like to see Incognitee come to life sooner, don’t hesitate to cast your vote via this link. The treasury proposal is open for voting until around July 19th.

Unpermissioned Collators Live
In our mission to foster decentralization, we’re now opening up the collator set for external operators to establish an unpermissioned operation of the Integritee Network. Therefore we have created a new Integritee Network Treasury Bounty where you can claim an amount of up to 300$ in TEER for your efforts to run an Integritee Network collator. This will also put you in a good position to be considered as a Validator in Incognitee. This will help to ensure the smooth operation and resilience of the Integritee ecosystem. Check the documentation and run your first Integritee Network collator!

Blockchain for the Greater Good
This month, we released an article titled “For the Greater Good: Using Blockchain for Social Change”, in which we explore interesting blockchain-based projects that invest their time in finding solutions for humanitarian and social issues. We break it down into different industries, such as farming, energy, humanitarian aid, and much more. If you’re interested in knowing more about how blockchain can be used to help others, check out our article.

Community update
In June, we had “It’s TEE Time!” episode 17, which is out on YouTube already for everyone to check out. If you’re interested in knowing what our last chat was about, click here.
