Monthly Wrap-Up December 2023: New Products, Fresh Content & More

December might mean holidays for most, but we at Integritee were busy closing the year, finishing up some technical updates, and working on our soon-to-be-launched product, Incognitee. Read through our monthly wrap-up and check out all that we have been up to before the kickstart of 2024.

Business Updates

Launch of the Incognitee Testnet

The year ended on a very positive note as we were able to launch something we’ve been working on for a few months: our privacy sidechain. Incognitee is set to become available during the course of 2024, and it aims to give users the chance to transfer digital assets privately. It allows you to stay “incognito” and use the scalability of L2 sidechains to get digital assets transferred instantly. Haven’t checked it out yet? Read more here.

Fresh New Content

We have also invested time and effort in bringing forth insightful educational material so everyone can explore our technology, but also understand how it can be applied in the real world. If you’re interested in knowing why our sidechains are so valuable and important, read our article on the importance of blockchain layer 2 solutions.

This December, we’ve also launched episodes 5 and 6 of our second video series, where we explore the concept of Trusted Off Chain Workers and the Teeracle.

Release of the Integritee SDK v0.12.2 and v0.12.8

Two new main releases of the Integritee SDK were published last month. The changes from v0.12.1 to v0.12.2 contain:

  • Offchain workers now provisioning state from peer upon init instead of syncing the entire parentchain themselves
  • Introduction to fast-sync, skipping invocations up to the block where the first enclave for the shard has been registered the first time

The changes from v0.12.2 to v0.12.8 contain:

  • Mainly bugfixes and small enhancements of the dev experience. For all details, check our repository.

What’s Ahead

Incognitee

After releasing the public testnet of Incognitee — our Privacy Sidechain for Polkadot — we are now working on the launch of a series of user and testing campaigns for the following weeks.

Release of the Integritee SDK v0.13.0

Release v.0.13.0 is imminent and will include multichain support, so we can run multiple light clients and send data to different target chains.

Tech updates

More features around our Attesteer, our Teeracle, and the privacy Sidechains will be released in the upcoming weeks.
