Monthly Wrap-Up April 2022: Networking, Technical Updates and Business Growth

Our team has been here, there, and everywhere over the past month, talking up a storm and making sure that everyone knows about us. At the same time, we’ve achieved the key milestone of occupying our Kusama parachain slot.

Networking effects

Bitcoin 2022 was a clear highlight of the month, especially participating in the Polkadot & Parity Technologies event. Our CSO Christian Junger met dozens of great people and came back from Miami buzzing. Right here in Zurich, co-founders Waldemar Scherer and Alain Brenzikofer met enterprise decision makers at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies summit, while head of business development Janis von Zimmermann and marketing and community lead Flavia Spera headed to AmsterDOT in Amsterdam to network with Polkadot developers.

This was a great foretaste of what we can expect from Polkadot Decoded in Berlin next month, another major event focused on the Polkadot network and all the possibilities it opens. Following the public voting, our founder Alain Brenzikofer’s Tech Talk proposal, on scaling Polkadot with layer 2 sidechains, has been shortlisted. Stay tuned for the final agenda.

Up close and personal

On a far more intimate scale, back home in Zurich, founder Alain Brenzikofer enjoyed the hospitality of Club3 at an in-depth expert discussion of privacy on Web3. We’re proud to be part of driving forward awareness of, and solutions for, this crucially important issue.

Then CEO Waldemar Scherer appeared on the Web3 podcast to explain the advantages of blockchain technology for business, especially in protecting sensitive information and building trust.

And our chats with Ajuna continue – most recently, our COO Tristan Jose sat down with Ajuna’s Nicholas Douzinas to learn more about what it’s really like to work in blockchain gaming. In the next one, we’ll dig into the technical challenges of the sector, and how we solve them together.

Our moment to shine

By the time you read this, we will have finished pitching in the eurobits ECSO Start-Up Pitch 2022! As one of six finalists, we had a chance to pitch Integritee to an expert jury from the cybersecurity space, before meeting with investors face-to-face. It was a great moment as we took our place among the best cybersecurity startups in Europe.

Technical progress

The big achievement of the month was successfully migrating our solo chain to the Kusama network. This isn’t just a big step forward for decentralization, it also paves the way for more partnerships and integrations with other Kusama projects. It’s a big part of our plans and will help to drive demand for our services and our token.

Integritee has also been added to Nova Wallet as a supported network, making it easier for users to manage their tokens and participate in parachain auctions.

It’s all about you

Congratulations to all those who collected TEER for their support in our bounty campaign – the winners can be found here. Are you one of them?

If you’ve got plenty of enthusiasm for building Integritee up, don’t forget to apply for our Ambassador Program: you could get TEER for making introductions, building features, creating content, and more.

And finally, as we launch our Lisbon office, we are hiring for a range of positions from development to operations. Come work with a great company and help us build a better web!
